A Message from the President of the Board of Directors, Amas Musical Theatre

Dear Friends of Amas,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Amas Musical Theatre, I'd like to thank you for your overwhelming support over the years.  Amas’ mission is more important than ever before.

Having recently been elected President of the Board of Directors, it is a privilege to serve alongside my fellow board members who share a common commitment to diversity and inclusion through new thought-provoking theatrical productions and education programs like The Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy.

We are setting the stage for a new chapter for Amas. The board of directors has recently completed a three-year strategic plan. Later this year, we will launch our first ever subscription-based season including a mainstage production, labs, workshops, and salon events.  And finally, we are planning our 50-year golden anniversary celebration!

You can be a part of this incredible new chapter by helping us in any of the following areas:

1) Board Leadership, Committee Members, and Volunteers:
We are looking for qualified candidates who can donate their time, professional skills, and other resources as needed. Experience with real estate, capital campaigns, communications, and fundraising is a plus. If you, or anyone within your personal and professional networks, would like to discuss available opportunities, please send your contact information and areas of expertise to info@amasmusical.org.  Additionally, internships are available through this website.

2) Fundraising:
We are actively working to raise "seed" funding to kick off our new season and we need your help in achieving our financial $100,000 goal.  Individual donations can be submitted through the Amas website donation page.  If your organization is interested in becoming a season sponsor, please contact info@AmasMusical.org.  (Be reminded that all donations are tax deductible and eligible for your corporate Matching Gifts programs.)

3) Connecting with Amas:
To keep up to speed on the latest news from Amas, follow us on TwitterFacebook, and Instagram.

4) Growing Our Network of Supporters:
Help expand our network of supporters by asking five of your friends, family members, and colleagues to follow us on our social media outlets and join our mailing list.

Thank you again for your continued support and we look forward to sharing more in the future!

Regards, James
